Department of Professional Studies
As part of the Eberly College of Science and Technology and Cal U Global Online, the Department of Professional Studies is committed to high-quality academic programs for students interested in pursuing a rewarding career in the fields of legal studies, public policy, homeland security or law.
We offer an M.S. in legal studies with concentrations in law and public policy, homeland security, and criminal justice. The department also houses the Institute for Law and Public Policy, which provides continuing education for justice professionals, such as police, lawyers, correctional personnel, human service workers, professional security specialists and judicial personnel; and publishes a peer review journal - The Homeland Security Review.
