Student Counseling Association

Students and alumni interested in the field of counseling may join the Student Counseling Association. Membership is open to all California University of Pennsylvania students and alumni, regardless of major or GPA. 

If you would like to join the Student Counseling Association, contact the Counselor Education Department for an application.

 

Chi Sigma Iota

Chi Sigma Iota is the international counseling honor society. This organization promotes scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling. It also provides an opportunity to network with other counseling students and professionals in the field. Membership is open to: a) students who have completed at least one semester of full-time graduate work (nine credits)  in counselor education with a 3.5 GPA and b) counseling professionals who graduated with a 3.5 GPA and who are licensed or certified (national or state) as professional counselors.
