Selected Research Papers

Research is the foundation of any educational program whereby students can find motivation in their investigation of various topics.  In the Exercise Sciences and Sport Studies, research is very rich and dynamic as we continue to update our methods of application and inquiry.  Papers from our undergraduate Sport Management major with concentrations in Wellness and Fitness as well as Professional Golf Management, and graduate Exercise Science and Health Promotion program are featured here to promote student research and evidence-based practice.  Our graduate program features tracks in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, Wellness and Fitness, Rehabilitation Science, and Sport Psychology.  These papers have been selected by ESSS professors teaching our various research methods/application courses  as examples in quality content and writing as well as current topics in the field.
