Dr. Hider is a published expert in the areas of curriculum development, teacher in-service and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) integration.

Areas of grants and research: curriculum development, teacher in-service, STEM integration, technology and engineering education

Service Learning Projects

Dr. Hider works with Habitat for Humanity and with Pennsylvania school districts on facility and curriculum design.

In addition, all graduate course assignments impact the candidate's teaching and program; in TED 450, Dr. Hider and his students consult with a school on facility and curriculum design via field trip and interactive correspondence. In TED 436, students may select an engineering design project that benefits a local organization.
