Get a description of each of Cal U's Sociology courses from our Course Catalog here.

  • Students who transfer to Cal U with an earned associate degree only need 60 credits to earn the bachelor of arts degree.
  • Students who transfer to Cal U with 39 or more credits but no associate degree may need up to 81 credits; 39 program credits plus up to 42 general education or elective credits to earn the bachelor of arts degree.
  • Transfer students with less than 39 credits earned may have their transcripts evaluated by the program coordinator for an admission decision or enroll in the on-ground deviance program at Cal U.
