Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Culture
California University’s 100% Online B.A. Arabic Language and Culture degree (30 credits) is designed to provide students with the skills and experiences that are needed in the job market. We are currently accepting Applications for our Summer 2013 program start with our next projected start as the Fall 2013 semester.
Emphasis will be on reading, writing, and speaking in Modern Standard Arabic. Each student in the Arabic classes will receive a Rosetta Stone license to use for the course, starting the Spring of 2013. Objectives and subject matter cover cultural topics ranging from geography and religions to cuisine and multiculturalism. Moreover, the available capstone courses are specifically designed to serve two significant purposes: 1) enhance Arabic language skills; and 2) gain a deeper appreciation of the Arabic culture.
