Letter of Completion in Arabic Language and Culture

Starting in the Fall 2013, California University’s 100% Online Arabic Language and Culture Letter of Completion (12 credits) will replace the certificate program.  The Letter of Completion required coursework is designed to provide students with the skills and experiences that are needed in the job market. Emphasis will be on reading, writing, and speaking in Modern Standard Arabic. Each student in the Arabic classes will receive a Rosetta Stone license to use for the course.  Objectives and subject matter cover cultural topics ranging from geography and religions to cuisine and multiculturalism. Moreover, the available capstone courses are specifically designed to serve two significant purposes: 1) enhance Arabic language skills; and 2) gain a deeper appreciation of the Arabic culture.
