Letter of Completion in Spanish for Law Enforcement & Spanish for Business

As far back as 1787 Thomas Jefferson said that “our future connections with Spain and Spanish America will render the [Spanish] language a valuable acquisition.”  Over 200 years later, the Wall Street Journal said, “American manufacturers consider Spanish to be the most important language to study for international business.”  For law-enforcement officers, the need to establish rapport with members of Spanish-speaking communities as well addressing a number of practical safety issues has never been greater.  As such, Cal U is projecting to offer letters of completion in Spanish for Business and Spanish for Law Enforcement in the Fall of 2011.
