Lambda Alpha Epsilon

This national criminal justice association plays a vital role in the supplementary education of Cal U students. Along this road of increasing knowledge about the criminal justice system, LAE fosters fellowship among its members that will last a lifetime.  In LAE, you can participate in guest lectures, field trips, conferences, and the Annual Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences to increase your knowledge and understanding of criminal justice concerns.  Membership is open to students, as well as practitioners in the field, and provides an excellent networking tool for its members.

Alpha Phi Sigma

This national honor society recognizes scholastic excellence by students in the criminal justice sciences as well as law school students.  To qualify, you must have completed one-third of the credit hours required for graduation and be recommended for membership by a local chapter adviser or faculty member. Undergraduates must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.2 GPA in the criminal justice field. Graduate students are required to have a 3.4 GPA in all graduate courses. Students must rank in the top 35% of their class. In addition, applicants must have completed at least four courses in a criminal justice major or equivalent.
