Land Management: Admission Criteria

U.S. News and World Report Best Online Programs - Bachelor's 2015Admission

Students applying for the 100% online Land Management program should have either an associate degree or 40 credits earned with a GPA of 2.00 or the completion of the Land Management Certificate with at least a 3.00 GPA.

To be considered for admission to Cal U as a degree-seeking student, please submit the following:

  • Your completed application
  • $25 application fee
  • Official High School transcript, which includes class rank or GED certificate and scores.  This requirement is waived for students with a minimum of an associate degree. 
  • Official SAT or ACT scores.  This requirement is waived for applicants who have been out of school for at least two years or have 12 college level credits.
  • Students who transfer to Cal U with an earned associate degree only need 60 program credits to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • Students who transfer to Cal U with 40 or more credits but no associate degree need up to 80 credits to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • Students who have completed the Land Management Certificate with at least a 3.00 GPA may have their transcripts evaluated by the program coordinator for an admission decision.
  • Minimum of a 2.00 cumulative GPA and in good academic standing.
  • Submit all official college transcripts.

How to Apply:

Land Management Certificate

  • First, create an account to APPLY NOW
  • Next, select the application type for Letter of Completion/Certificate
  • Then select the anticipated Start Term
  • Finally, select Land Management Certificate as the Planned Course of Study
  • Create the remaining Banner application questions and Submit your Application

Land Management Bachelor of Arts

  • First, create an account to APPLY NOW
  • Then, select the application type for Transfer
  • Next, select the anticipated Start Term
  • Finally, select Bachelor’s Land Management as the Planned Course of Study
  • Complete the remaining MUEAA application questions and Submit your Application
