Master of Education in Technology Education: Curriculum

The goals of the technology education program at Cal U are to:

  1. Develop standards-based curriculum, instruction and assessment materials.
  2. Evaluate and synthesize literature related to the field of mathematics, science and technology education.
  3. Develop a strategic plan for an educational program.
  4. Research, develop and defend a grant proposal.
  5. Evaluate the impacts and consequences of technology nationally and internationally and make informed choices.
  6. Design, investigate, implement and evaluate a major culminating research experience.
  7. Research and evaluate current trends in technology education (e.g., engineering education, STEM).

Master of Education in Technology Education: 31 credits

The program will take five semesters to complete, including summers. Two courses will be completed each semester, and the order of completion will depend on your start date. Your adviser and the Global Online program staff will advise you each semester indicating which course to register for in the following semester.
