Chemistry: Internships and Careers
Our graduates have been successful in pursuing the careers of their choice. Over the years, they've obtained industrial jobs both locally and outside the region. They have gone on to become analytical chemists, quality control specialists, industrial management trainees, technical writers, chemical purchasing agents and salespeople in the chemical industry. Other students are pursuing or recently received PhDs at the following universities: West Virginia University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Delaware, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Rutgers University, Arizona State University and Carnegie Mellon University, and University of Utah.
We strongly encourage and support students in efforts to seek internships during their careers at California University. Students typically seek internships during the summer before their junior and senior years.
Cal U prepares you to enter the workforce with knowledge, integrity, character and experience. With the help of the Career and Professional Development Center, we'll connect you to potential employers through networking events, job shadowing opportunities, on-campus recruiting, job and internship fairs, and organizational visits.
