Computer Engineering Technology: Lab Facilities

Computer Engineering Technology's labs are located in the Eberly Science and Technology Center (EBE).

Analog Lab (EBE 371) supports 12 workstations, each with a Windows XP©-networked computer with Internet access, a Tekronix© function generator, a Tektronix© Digital Phosphorous Oscilloscope, a Wavetek© digital multimeter and a Tenma© triple output power supply. Also available are four electric power workstations with a DC motor and generator, single-phase and three-phase AC motors and alternators, transformers, and a dynamometer. An HP© 2100 laser printer is available for printing lab reports and assignments.

Digital/Embedded Systems Lab (EBE 361)
includes 12 Windows XP©-networked computers with Internet access, a digital trainer, an oscilloscope, a function generator, a power supply and a microprocessor emulator. Four workstations feature an HP© 18-channel mixed signal oscilloscope available for advanced microcontroller system troubleshooting. The lab is also equipped with C cross compilers for embedded microcontroller software development. An HP© 2100 laser printer is available for printing lab reports and assignments.

Computer Engineering Technology Projects Lab (EBE 301) contains reconfigurable furniture to facilitate individual students and work groups as they plan, design, develop, test, and analyze computer and electrical engineering technology-related senior-level projects.
