Computer Science: Internships and Careers
After students complete their sophomore year, they are eligible to apply for a Computer Science Internship. Internships allow students to learn while they earn, and prepare students for immediate employment upon graduation.
Some of our graduates choose to continue their education and have gone on to achieve Masters and Doctorates.
Our graduates currently work in various employment situations, including Director of IT, Programmer, Web Developer, Clinical Systems Analyst, Professor, Software Engineer, and Applications Analyst. Some employers include the FBI, PTC, Progeny, State Farm Insurance, US Steel, Voltec Inc., Eaton, Northrop Grumman Corp, Indus International, Advanced Acoustic Concepts, GNC, VigilantMinds, and several universities.
Cal U prepares you to enter the workforce with knowledge, integrity, character and experience. With the help of Career Services, we'll connect you to potential employers through networking events, job shadowing opportunities, on-campus recruiting, job and internship fairs, and organizational visits.
