Our journalism concentration gives you the skills and knowledge
necessary to become an exceptional journalist or freelance writer.
You’ll learn how to interview people, gather facts, report the news, and
write features. Our journalism faculty have practical experience in the world
of journalism and will teach you how to edit and prepare materials
for print and online publications. This concentration will prepare you to
pursue a career working at a newspaper, magazine, or an online publication.
