Language and Literacy
Students in the Language and Literacy concentration choose among writing, literature, and theory classes to create an English Studies concentration that allows them to pursue personal interests and related career opportunities. The English major serves as the basis for liberal education centered in the humanities. The program prepares students for graduate work, literary scholarship, and careers that require verbal sophistication.
Language & Literacy graduate Maghan Amodei receives graduation Honors Cords from Dr. Sarah Downey, co-advisor of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honorary Association.
