

Associate of Science in Industrial Technology
The associate degree in industrial technology is designed to prepare technically competent professionals for employment in industrial and manufacturing enterprises. The career focus for our graduates is industrial technician and technologist positions. You will develop advanced technical skills in industrial safety, machine tool manufacturing, computer numerical control, materials technology, automation/robotics, electronics, drafting and design, CAD, solid modeling, and quality control. This program also provides you with experiences with technological processes that will help you understand problems you may face in industrial and manufacturing environments.
Graduates of the program can continue in our bachelor’s degree technology management program with no loss of credits. Learn more about our curriculum.

Bethany Kastner (Industrial Technology ’09) was hired one month after her graduation because of the experience she gained during her internship. Now a Mechanical Design Specialist at Mechanical Engineering Systems Associates (MESA), Kastner does mechanical design and drafting for a wide range of companies, and provides technical support for drafting software.
