International Studies: Study Abroad
Through the California University CEA/NSE (Cultural Experiences Abroad or National Student Exchange), Cal U allows you to study any semester, including summers, in countries such as Spain, France, Mexico and Argentina. You may take courses at the host university in English, French or Spanish, and the credits and grades transfer automatically back to Cal U. Financial aid can be applied.
Additionally, the National Student Exchange provides opportunities to study at another college or university within the United States and Canada.

Education First (EF) offers an excellent program for students to study for two weeks to a year in countries such as Spain, France, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Italy, Germany or China. The program allows you to take courses at the host university, with the credits and grades transferring back to Cal U. In many cases, no previous language experience is necessary. Which courses are available in English vary by institution. For more information, contact Dr. Mary Randall.
