Jurisprudence Student Objectives
This program strives to:
- Identify schools of jurisprudence;
- Compare and contrast the various schools of jurisprudence in terms of legal decision or legal result;
- Prepare high level research products in the fields of law and jurisprudence;
- Contrast human law with more transcendent versions and definitions of law;
- Summarize and critique the various jurisprudential theories;
- Compile sophisticated research findings involving law and jurisprudence;
- Justify the defense or advocacy of a particular legal issue or problem;
- Propose diverse ways in which a legal problem can be resolved;
- Integrate moral and ethical reasoning into legal applications;
- Summarize the major tenets of Anglo-American/Western jurisprudence.
