Justice Studies: Internships and Careers

Internships

Our students have access to excellent advisement for planning academic programs and real-world internships that meet their individual and career needs.

Career Opportunities

Career opportunities are plentiful. Few undergraduate departments offer the depth and breadth of job opportunities that we do. The various curricula of the Department of Justice, Law and Society prepares you for professional careers in legal and justice systems, including, but not limited to, law, criminal investigations, policing, corrections, forensics, anthropology, intelligence and public policy. If you're interested in going on to law school, we're well prepared to help you set the course in this exciting and challenging direction.

Our graduates have found successful professional careers in federal, state and local law enforcement agencies; courts and law offices; correctional institutions; probation and parole; juvenile justice; anthropology and archaeology; and the emerging fields of forensic science, electronic fraud and white collar crime.

Cal U prepares you to enter the workforce with knowledge, integrity, character and experience. With the help of Career Services, we'll connect you to potential employers through networking events, job shadowing opportunities, on-campus recruiting, job and internship fairs, and organizational visits.
