Whether you require a high-tech meeting space with Internet capabilities or a large hall to accommodate hundreds of guests, you'll find it all at Cal U. Here are just a few of our most popular meeting venues:

Convocation Center

This brand new, state-of-the-art building houses a 6,000 arena, the largest indoor venue between Pittsburgh and Morgantown, W.Va. Additionally, this building includes various other space, such as two wings, a computer lab, and hospitality room. View the Room Specifications Guide for the Convocation Center here.

Steele Hall

Very large groups will find our newly renovated Steele Hall and the 613-seat Main Stage Theatre a comfortable place to meet. New theater-style seats and state-of-the-art audio/visual will add to the experience for both your conference attendees and your presenters. Steele Hall is a fully functional space with built-in ticket windows and registration desks, coat check and a lobby suitable for light food and beverage receptions.

Vulcan Theatre

Planning a corporate video screening, executive presentations or private movie viewing? The Vulcan Theatre seats 143 people in fixed-stadium chairs with room for people with disabilities. A 10-foot-by-18-foot stage makes the Vulcan Theatre an excellent setting for seminars or panel discussions. When not in use as a seminar site, the Vulcan Theatre runs recently released movies that change regularly.

Elmo Natali Performance Center

Enjoy the versatility of the Elmo Natali Performance Center. With a maximum seating capacity of 470, this room can be configured to suit the needs of your participants. A true multi-purpose room, it is ideal for a variety of activities, from lectures and luncheons to banquets and concerts.

Grand Hall

For an elegant reception or banquet, opt for the Grand Hall. Located in Old Main, the Grand Hall features historic architecture and stunning stained glass windows. It is a prestigious choice for any small social gathering.

Kara Alumni House

Situated on the edge of campus, the Kara Alumni House is a perfect location for both indoor and outdoor events. Enjoy a sit-down meal inside with an unobstructed view of the outdoors while allowing the sun to shine in. Or allow us to cater stations outside under the pergola on our veranda. The Kara Alumni House is great for sophisticated gatherings, meetings and events.

Carter Multi-Purpose Room

Take advantage of the fully functional kitchen, large-screen TV and oversized chairs of the Carter Multi-Purpose Room when you want to create a casual atmosphere for small gatherings, meetings and events.

SMART Classroom

Give your meeting a high-tech edge. Book one of the many SMART classrooms on campus. Each has a station equipped with computer and audio/visual equipment, allowing the presenter to teach using a wide variety of media. These include DVD playback, PowerPoint presentations and more, all displayed through a data projector.

Eberly Auditorium

The Eberly Auditorium is a fully equipped SMART room with the latest in learning technology. The room features an instructional computer, two large mounted flat-screen TVs, SMART whiteboards, ELMO presentation equipment and more, all packaged to make teaching and learning an interactive experience.

Morgan Hall LRC Auditorium

Located on the east end of campus, Morgan Hall boasts a state-of-the-art, spacious lecture hall that accommodates up to 286 people. The newly renovated hall includes SMART ELMO presentation equipment with two large screens and a spacious front stage that's great for panel discussions.

Duda Board Room

One of the newest buildings at Cal U, Duda offers a spacious board room with seating for up to 20 people. Enjoy your meeting while relaxing in executive-style chairs and utilizing our polycom phone technology. Included in this space is a small kitchenette suitable for light refreshments.
