Differences between Internships and Co-ops

INTERNSHIPS vs. CO-OPS: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

INTERNSHIPS CO-OPS
Internships are coordinated and supervised by California University of Pennsylvania's Academic Departments. Co-ops are coordinated and supervised by California University of Pennsylvania's Career Service Department.
Internships can either be paid or unpaid. A co-op position is always a paid position.
Internships are a for-credit experience. Co-op students do not receive credit for their work experience.
