IILPP Publications

The Institute for Law and Public Policy (ILPP) communicates news about, to and from the legal, criminal and civil justice systems through various forms of media. For example, it reacts to opinions, or a series of conflicting opinions, about a case currently being reviewed by the United States Supreme Court, or communicates a critique, either positive or negative, about a piece of pending or enacted legislation. These works are available to the public through outlets such as these:

  • Position papers/white papers on select issues
  • Formal studies of particular justice problems
  • Forums for debate and exchange on perennial problems in the legal system
  • Open sessions at host or competing universities
  • Alliances of colleges and universities with similar interests
  • Press releases on topical questions
  • Interaction with local media, especially television
  • Development of a web location with justice links and resources

The ILPP also produces its own publications and journals:
