A professor in the Department of Secondary Education and Administrative Leadership, Dr. Joseph Zisk is an experienced guide to the fast-changing world of instructional technology. He worked as technology supervisor in a suburban school district before teaching at Cal U, and as coordinator for the University’s online Master of Arts Teaching program, he has spent years helping educators find efficient, effective ways to incorporate emerging technology and software solutions into their courses.

Christopher John (C.J.) DeJuliis joined the Cal U staff in 2001 as an information technology technician. After completing a master’s degree in multimedia technology at Cal U, he began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in the Applied Engineering and Technology Department, where he has taught courses in Communicating Technical Design, Information Systems, and Transportation Systems. Through the TLC he helps faculty learn to use smart classroom technology.

Jon Kallis

Jon Kallis joined Cal U in 2005 as part of the Office of Web-Based Programs. During his time there, Cal U’s Global Online was ranked best in the nation by the SR Education Group. He serves as Cal U’s Desire2Learn administrator and is certified in Quality Matters, a national benchmark for online course design. Now located in the TLC, he continues to provide direct support and training. A graduate from Duquesne University in Business Administration / Information Technology, and holding a Master’s Degree in multimedia technology from Cal U, he also serves as an active adjunct faculty member for the Graphics and Multimedia Program in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology.

Adam Stairs began his career at Cal U with the Office of Web-Based Programs in 2011. Prior to starting at Cal U, Adam worked as a web and graphics accessibility consultant for the Department of Labor and West Virginia University. Now with the TLC, Adam helps ensure accessibility in our distance education programs through his role in the support and training of Cal U's faculty.

Rendie Settles

Rendie Settles began her Cal U career at their satellite location in the heart of Pittsburgh. She transferred to main campus in 2005 to work for the Office of Web-Based Programs. Now a part of the TLC as a Management Technician, Rendie brings her knowledge in distance education and excellent customer service skills to assistant and aid faculty. An employee for over 13 years, Rendie is proud to be Cal U For Life.
