

Meet the Peer Mentor Coordinators

Sutton Lenhart
Hi, my name is Sutton Lenhart. I am the Graduate Assistant in the Peer Mentoring Office at Cal. I am currently in my second semester working toward my Master’s degree in Special and Elementary Education. I recently earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Sport, Arts, and Entertainment Management with a Business Management Minor from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In my free time I enjoy dancing, figure skating, and hanging out with my family and friends.
Mike Bonnono
Hey!! My name is Mike Bonnono. I'm from Johnstown, PA. I am currently a senior majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I am also doing a certificate program in Forensic Science through Duquesne University. I am involved with the Psychology Club, Criminal Justice Club and Forensic Science Club. This is my third year being a Peer Mentor Coordinator. It has been a great experience working as a Peer Mentor Coordinator. Being a PMC has shown me a lot and also helped me grow as person. It's awesome how people volunteer their time to help freshmen get adjusted to college life.
Chad Morrow
Hi, my name is Chad Morrow and I will be working in the mentoring office as a peer mentor coordinator for the second year. I am from West Mayfield, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Blackhawk High School. I am currently going for an undergraduate degree in History and Social Studies Education. I am a junior and participant in the Honors Program and in the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society here at the university. I am also vice president of the Hispanic Student Association and love to travel all over. I think the best part of my job is being able to help all the students build friendships through the mentoring program at California University of Pennsylvania.
Lauren Vitt
Hi there! My name is Lauren Vitt and I am from Monroeville, PA. I am a senior majoring in International Studies: Business and Economics with a minor in Leadership. This is my second year as a Peer Mentor Coordinator and I am looking forward to another great year! On campus, I am an Orientation Leader for New Student Orientation, I am Junior Advisor of the Alpha Lambda Delta honors society, and I am an active member of the Foreign Language Club and Leadership Club. I will also be working as an AmeriCorps scholar this year, which I am very excited about! I love being a part of the mentoring program because it truly works to benefit everyone! From the new protégés who need role models to help them establish their college careers to the experienced mentors who offer their time to help, I feel that the Mentoring Program works for everyone!
Tiffani Rossi
Hello everyone! My name is Tiffani Rossi and I’m a junior majoring in Middle Level Education with a concentration in Science and Social Studies. I’m from Erie, PA and Cal U is the farthest I’ve ever been from home. This will be my second year as a PMC and I can’t wait to get everything started with the mentoring program. My job as a PMC has taught me countless life skills and I’m intrigued to see what this new 2011-2012 year will bring. Good luck to you all!
Rustin Clark
My name is Rustin Clark. I'm a Junior here at Cal U majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice. I'm in the Forensic Science Club, Criminal Justice Club, and I completed the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I currently work at CVS Pharmacy as a photo lab technician. For the past two summers, I interned at Bedford Somerset Mental Health / Mental Retardation. In my spare time, I like to watch movies and read almost anything.
Megan Veselic
Hello, my name is Megan Veselic and I am a Junior here at Cal U. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I have lived there my entire life. This is my second semester as a Peer Mentor coordinator but this is my third semester as a Peer Mentor. I am also involved in the Welcome Center as an Orientation Leader and I am also an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am very excited about being a Peer Mentor Coordinator again because I believe that everyone can benefit from having a mentor!
Megan Paul
'm Megan Paul and a junior graphic design major. I live along the Delaware River about an hour north of Philly in a fairly big town. My hobbies are reading, most things including art, and photography. My biggest goals in life are to work for an established design company and own a puppy. As soon as I can, I hope to be moving to the west coast somewhere near Seattle.
Alyssa Martinez
My name is Alyssa Martinez and I'm a senior this year at Cal U majoring in criminal justice and psychology with a minor in spanish. Unfortunately, I will not be graduating this year, but will be graduating next year as a super senior! I'm originally from Butler, PA which is very close to SRU. I transferred in last year as a junior and this is my first year as a PMC. I'm actively involved with STAND, the campus ministry at Cal, but am also a part of the criminal justice club and Alpha Phi Sigma (National Criminal Justice Honor Society).
Nicole Runac
My name is Nicole Runac and I am currently a Sophomore here at Cal U. I am studying Sports Management with a concentration in Wellness and Fitness. This is my first semester as a PMC and a peer mentor. I love helping people as well as making new friends! I'm from a small town called Monongahela, where I graduated from Ringgold High School in 2010. I'm a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, so much so that I play dek hockey and many other sports with my friends here on campus.
Kelsey Craig
Hi! I'm Kelsey Craig, a Senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice. I'm from Greensburg, PA and graduated from Hempfield Area Senior High. I'm a huge Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers fan, and would go to every game if I could! I'm Co-President of the Psychology Club and a mentor here on campus. I plan on attending grad school and specializing in Educational/Career Counseling. This is my first year as a Peer Mentor Coordinator but I'm extremely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with and help new and returning students!
Hillary Drumheller
Hello! My name is Hillary Drumheller and this is my first year working in the Mentoring Office as a Peer Mentor Coordinator. I am a sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bloomsburg High School. Aside from the Mentoring Program, I am also involved in Student PSEA, Book Club, and the AmeriCorps program. In my spare time I enjoy playing field hockey, running, and hanging out with friends. I am very excited for this year and to be working with the other PMCs, Mentors, and Protégés.
Krista Winzek
Hi! My name is Krista Winzek and I’m from North Huntingdon, PA. I’m a junior at CalU majoring in both Criminal Justice and Computer Science. I also have a concentration in Forensic Science. I’m a member of the Criminal Justice club, Forensic Science club, and STAND Campus Ministry. This is my first year as a PMC and I’m really looking forward to working with everyone!
Christina King
I’m Christina King and I am a sophomore here at California University. I am a double major in Communication Studies/Public Relations and Theatre. I’m from the small town of Scottdale, PA. I love to keep myself busy and involved in multiple activities. Two things I am very passionate about are sports and performing arts. My dream job is to work in public relations for an athletics company, and perform on the side.
Samantha Sundburg
Hi there! My name is Samantha Sundburg. I am a junior at Cal, studying English Education, with a minor in Art. I am from Reading, Pennsylvania, which is about forty-five minutes outside of Philadelphia. My plan is to graduate and teach both English and Art to high school students. Some of my favorite things to do are: reading, baking, eating whatever I baked, going to baseball games, pottery and photography. I am new to the PMC team, but am glad to be here and look forward to working with everyone!
