The fall theater season opens with "An Evening of Creativity," including the one-act play "Long Ago and Far Away." Showtime in Steele Hall's Blaney Theatre is 7 p.m. Sept. 29-30, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 1.
The Noss Lecture Series presents a conversation with award-winning writer Jeanne Marie Laskas. Her book 'Concussion' focuses on the Pittsburgh doctor who uncovered the effect of repeated head trauma on NFL players. The free talk Oct. 20 includes a book-signing session.
