Orientation and Registration

students at orientation sessions

Get ready for a busy, fun-filled preview of college life at Cal U! Our programs for newly admitted students are designed to help you become familiar with the campus and the programs and opportunities that await you at the University. You'll have time to register for classes, take your placement tests, finalize your financial aid package and get answers to any questions you may have. It's also a great time to meet other incoming students!

There are two important sessions for incoming students:

  • New Student Registration – a mandatory, one-day program for students and parents or spouses, held during the summer months. This is when you will confirm your academic schedule for the fall semester.
  • Orientation – a three-day program (Fall) and one -day program (Spring)with a number of mandatory sessions held immediately before the start of the semester.
