After all the planning and the packing, the farewell hugs from parents and friends, and the nervous e-mails and phone calls to new roommates, the day has finally arrived. It's Orientation at Cal U – the start of your college career.

We will begin Cal U for Life New Student Orientation  on Friday, August 23rd with Move-in Day activities. Vulcan Village residents should consult seperate Vulcan Village mailers for specific move-in dates and times. Our on-campus residence halls will open at 9:00 a.m., and members of the Cal U community will be available to provide assistance! 

On-campus move in schedule is as follows:

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: Last Names A - M          12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.: Last Names N - Z   

Orientation activities will continue all day Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th. All three days are filled with informational sessions and activites designed to ease your transitional anxiety! Topics will include Academic Success, D2L, Time Managment, Personal Wellness, Personal Success, Career Services/Internships, Mentoring and many more! . (Fall 2013 Orientation Schedule coming soon!) Cal U for Life New Student Orientation will conclude on Sunday evening with New Student Convocation beginning at 6:30 p.m. and our Core Values Candlelight Ceremony immediatley following Convocation..
