Library and CalCard FAQs

How Can a Distance Learning Student Use the Library?

As a Global Online student, you have access to all the print and electronic resources of the Manderino Library - the same as on-campus students. You may receive reference assistance, library instruction, document delivery, limited interlibrary loans and access electronic course reserves. To learn more about resources and services, visit the Distance Learning link on the library's web page at http://library.calu.edu/distance-ed.

What Is a CalCard and Why Do I Need It?

All students enrolled at California University of Pennsylvania receive a CalCard Student Identification Card. Your card is mailed to you after you register for your courses. It will be a valuable resource to you when you access the library for your course work. If you do not receive your card, contact the CalCard Office by phone at 724-938-4300 or by e-mail at calcard@calu.edu.

Once you receive your CalCard in the mail, it will allow you to log in to California University's library via the Internet. Simply go to the University website and log in at the library website using the ID number issued to you on your card.
