International Student Services

California University of Pennsylvania welcomes international students from more than 26 countries each academic year. International students provide cultural diversity and bring to the institution and the surrounding community a new perspective.

The International Student Services Office works to meet the needs of enrolled students and to provide each with a sense of belonging. In addition, the office strives to provide opportunities for the international student to experience not only American culture, but other cultures represented on campus as well.

One such opportunity, open to the entire University community, is membership in the International Club. The group sponsors a number of activities, including an annual International Dinner each spring.

International Student Services and the home of the International Club-the All Nations Room-are located in Carter Hall, Room G-35.

Study Abroad Options

The office also assists Cal U students interested in exploring study options as well as exchange opportunities at other U.S. universities.

Cal U offers the opportunity for University students to earn credit toward a Cal U degree through the Cultural Experiences Abroad, which offers study abroad programs at 28 sites in 16 countries across the globe.

Cal U students can also explore the possibilities of earning full-time credit toward their degree through the National Student Exchange program, which links nearly 200 schools throughout the U.S. and Canada.
