My name is Robert Prah and I am the Director of Veteran's Affairs at California University of Pennsylvania. I have served as the Director of Veteran's Affairs since 2007. I have over 7 years experience in working with Veterans education programs. In addition to serving as the Director, I serve with various community organizations such as the California American Legion Post 377, Student Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Officers Association of America, Reserve Officers Association, Team Red, White, and Blue (Team RWB), and several others. On campus, I serve as the Veterans Club Advisor as well as the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity campus advisor. I am also an Officer serving with HHC/2IBCT, in Washington, Pa, as part of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. I have served in the Army National Guard for over 13 years and have experience in the Intelligence community as well as the Infantry. My name is Carolyn Clements and I am the Assistant Director - Military Coordinator for the Global Online at California University of Pennsylvania. I serve as the primary military point of contact for students enrolled in the Global Online programs and also the point of contact for academic program coordinators, admissions counselors (undergraduate and graduate) and other academic support areas. I assist regarding applications to California University of Pennsylvania, acceptance and registration data for all online students. I am currently serving as a Battalion S1 Officer for the 328th Brigade Support Battalion in the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. I have served in the Army National Guard for over 7 years and have experience as a Human Resource Officer, Resilience Trainer and Suicide Intervention Officer / Instructor. In addition, I am a member of the American Legion, Military Officers Association of America and National Guard Association of the United States. My name is Staff Sgt. Jesse Maund and I'm the Cal U Career Counselor / Cadre with the Cal U Army R.O.T.C. I have been working at Cal U since 2012. In addition to serving as the Career Counselor, I serve with various community organizations such as the California American Legion Post 377, Student Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and several others. I have served in the Army National Guard for over 13 years and have experience as a scout in both HHC/1-110 IN & C/2-104 CAV. My most recent position was as a team leader in D/112 (AT), 56 SBCT. I look forward to working with all Veterans and future leaders of our United States through the Army R.O.T.C. program. My name is Joseph Bryan and I am a senior at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Yough High School. I joined the United States Army in December 1997 and attended basic combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and also advanced individual training at Fort Lee, VA. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from July 13th, 2007 through October 14, 2008. After my service in Iraq, I was medically retired in October 2011. My major is Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I currently reside in California, PA. This is my third year as a VA work study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs. I am involved with the Veterans Club and Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. I have also assisted as cadre during the 2012 and 2013 Cal U German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge testing. I look forward to assisting and supporting all Cal U of Pa Veterans.

My name is Brittney Cassidy and I am a senior here at California University of Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Communication Disorders, planning on continuing to Graduate School for Speech Pathology. I joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2005, after turning 17. I am assigned to the 1-104th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion in Johnstown, Pa., as a Petroleum Supply Specialist. I have two tours overseas, Iraq in 2009 and Afghanistan in 2013. I became a work study at the Veteran Affairs office at Cal during my Freshmen year in 2010. I am also a Brother of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Co-Ed Fraternity here on campus. I look forward to supporting the Veterans here at CalU!

My name is Cris Frost and I am a sophomore at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Susquehannock High School. I joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2009 and attended basic combat training at Ft. Benning, GA, and also advanced individual training at Ft. Sill, OK. I am currently assigned to A/1-108 FA in Hanover, Pa as a cannon crew member. My major is justice studies with a focus in homeland security. I currently reside in California, Pa. This is my second semester as a VA work study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs. I am involved with the Veterans Club and Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. I have also assisted as Cadre during the 2012 and 2013 Cal U German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge testing. I look forward to assisting and supporting all Cal U of Pa Veterans.

My name is Corey Gaffron and I am a junior at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of California Area High School. I joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2012 and Attended Basic Combat training at Fort Benning, GA and also Advanced Combat Training at Fort Leonardwood, MO. I joined ROTC Fall of 2012 and received a GRFD Scholarship January of 2013 and earned the rank of Cadet. I am currently assigned to E/128 BSB in Beaver Falls, PA. My Major is Homeland Security in the Justice Studies program. I currently reside in California, PA. This is my semester working as a VA work study. I am involved in the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and the Veterans Club, I am also the president of the ROTC Club. I look forward to assisting and helping all Cal U of PA Veterans.

My name is Tim Hackley and I'm a junior at California University of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Albert Gallatin High School in 2005 and enlisted in the United States Navy. I graduated from Boot Camp at Naval Station Great Lakes and attended my "A" school there as well. I was then stationed in Sasebo, Japan onboard the USS Fort McHenry (LSD-43) and the USS Tortuga (LSD-46). After Japan, I was stationed at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia at Port Operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I completed my enlistment and was Honorably discharged in 2010. After six months, I joined the Navy Reserve and am currently assigned to Amphibious Construction Battalion 2 stationed in Little Creek, VA as an ILNS Craft Chief Engineer. I'm a member of the Veterans Club and Gerontology Club. I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Business Management. This is my first semester working for the Office of Veterans Affairs as a VA Work Study student. I'm committed to helping the Veterans of California University of Pennsylvania anyway I can.

I joined the United States Army Reserve in 2011. I completed BCT and AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. I currently serve in the 382 EN CO in Harrisburg, PA. I currently live in California, PA. This is my first semester as a VA Work Study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs. I am a Cadet in the Cal U Army R.O.T.C. program and also a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

I graduated from Washington High School in 2008 and then enlisted in the Army for five years as a Military Police Officer. I served a tour in Iraq (2010-2011) and South Korea (2012-2013). This is my second year as a VA work study student. I am part of the Vets Club, Archaeology Club, and the Medieval Club.

My name is Jason Rionda and I am a senior at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School. I joined the United States Navy in 2008 and attended basic training at the Great Lakes in Chicago and also attended MA training (police officer) at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. I was discharged from the Navy in June of 2012. I'm using the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill and my major is Justice Studies with a concentration in Criminology. I currently reside in Canonsburg, PA. This is my second semester as a VA work study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs. I am involved in the Veterans Club as well. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask us.
