My name is Robert Prah and I am the Director of Veteran's Affairs at California University of Pennsylvania. I have served as the Director of Veteran's Affairs since 2007. I have over 6 years experience in working with Veterans education programs. In addition to serving as the Director, I serve with various community organizations such as the California American Legion Post 377, Student Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Officers Association of America, Reserve Officers Association, and several others. In 2012, I accepted to serve on the PASSHE Chancellor's Council on Social Equity, Campus Climate, and Inclusion. On campus, I serve as the Veterans Club Advisor as well as the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity campus advisor. I am also an Infantry Officer in the 1st Battalion, 111th Infantry (Stryker), Plymouth Meeting, Pa, as part of the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. I have served in the Army National Guard for over 12 years and have experience in the Intelligence community as well as the Infantry. My name is Joseph Bryan and I am currently a freshman at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a Communications Major with a special emphasis in Television and Radio Production. I am a medically retired United States Staff Sergeant. Some of my duty stations include Fort Irwin, CA; Fort Campbell, KY; Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Army R.O.T.C.; Fort Lewis, WA; and Fort Polk, LA. I served at Camp Victory, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from July 2007 through October 2008. Some of my duty assignments have been Supply Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Equal Opportunity Leader, Unit Victim Advocate and Senior Logistics NCO. I am married with 3 children. I am a member of American Legion Post 790 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 167. This is my third semester as a Veterans Affairs work study student and I look forward to supporting and assisting all California University of Pennsylvania Veterans.

My name is Timothy Dawson and I am a freshman at California University of Pennsylvania. With three years of welding experience and four years of Naval service including five deployments, I am continuing my education at California University of Pennsylvania for Technology Management. Having left the military to become a college student, I know the steps necessary for a smooth transition and am looking forward to helping Veteran students as well as the Veterans Affairs team.

My name is Cris Frost and I am a sophomore at California University of Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Susquehannock High School. I joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2009 and attended basic combat training at Ft. Benning, GA, and also advanced individual training at Ft. Sill, OK. I am currently assigned to A/1-108 FA in Hanover, Pa as a cannon crew member. My major is justice studies with a focus in homeland security. I currently reside in California, Pa. This is my second semester as a VA work study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs. I am involved with the Veterans Club and Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. I have also assisted as Cadre during the 2012 and 2013 Cal U German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge testing. I look forward to assisting and supporting all Cal U of Pa Veterans.

Hello, my name is Lee Means and I am a junior at California University of Pennsylvania. I am enrolled in the Social Work program. I graduated from Brownsville Area High School in 2003 and enlisted in the Marine Corps directly after high school. Within my 8 years of service, I have attended several leadership and trade schools such as foreign weapon instructors course, non-lethal weapons and basic Arabic. While serving under 2nd Battalion 8th Marines, I was deployed to Al Anbar Province, Iraq from 2007 to 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and in 2009 I was deployed to the Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2011, I was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. I currently live in Adah, Pa. Within my time here on campus, I am looking forward to assisting other Veterans during their transition to college.
