Cal U's Women of Accomplishment: An Oral History
Mission and Goals:
The mission of the Women’s Center at California University of Pennsylvania is “to create a Cal U community that promotes and nurtures the contributions and experiences of women.” The Women’s Center initiated Cal U’s Women of Accomplishment: An Oral History project in support of its mission.
The project goals are to produce, archive, and make accessible the oral histories of women who have achieved notable accomplishments at Cal U in order to preserve their legacies, share their stories, and inspire other women to pursue worthy and noble goals.
This initiative is sponsored by The Women’s Center in collaboration with Cal U’s Teaching with Primary Sources Center for Oral History in the College of Education and Human Services.
