Caps, Tassels, & Gowns...Oh My!

Email sent on 10/23/17 to December 2017 candidates and August 2017 graduates.

Not able to make the Graduation Fair On October 23? Don’t worry. You have up until commencement to purchase your regalia, however, we recommend that all students purchase their caps and gowns no later than Friday, November 17, 2017 before sizes are limited and it is too late to place special orders.

For students not able to purchase regalia in person (i.e., global online students and students involved in internships and student teaching), please contact the Bookstore at 724-938-5575. You will be able to place an order over the phone and make arrangements to have your regalia picked-up prior to the ceremony or mailed to you.

We hope that you will be able to attend the Graduation Fair on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the University Bookstore. You can also visit our vendors online anytime for your commencement needs and beyond!

Undergraduate Commencement Honors Determination Emails:

Emails were sent the week of 10/16/17 to December 2017 undergraduate students who qualify for honors cords and to August 2017 undergraduate graduates who have earned academic honors. An email was also sent to undergraduate students who will not qualify based on resident credit hour issues. Students are advised to please check their Cal U email accounts for possible honors determinations and to refer to our academic honors policy.
