Kevin Angelilli

Kevin Angelilli in scuba gear. Kevin Angelilli is the founder and chief executive officer of Public Safety Specialists, a company created for the Professional Development of Public Safety Providers including police officers, fire fighters, EMS and health care professionals.

He has had articles published in national and online magazines, including PoliceOne.com and EMSOne.com.

Angelilli is a former chief of police, SWAT operator and SWAT medic. He currently serves as a reserve deputy and dive team instructor for the Wood County WV Sheriff’s Department.

He teaches police classes from basic patrol to FTO, and SWAT. He also is an ASP Baton and Cuffing Instructor.

Angelilli is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, holding state certification cards in West Virginia and Ohio. He is certified in West Virginia as a Class III Inter-Facility Transport Paramedic (C3-IFT).

Angelilli also has been a Volunteer Firefighter for over 10 years and holds fire certifications in Arson I & II, Auto Extrication, Confined Space Rescue, Firefighter I & II, Hazardous Materials Technician and Rope Rescue.

He became a PADI course director in 1999 and currently teaches over 25 instructor specialties. He is an Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and started his diving career as a Public Safety Diver in 1993. 

Angelilli  has two college degrees through Marshall University, one in criminal justice and the other in paramedic sciences.
