Rick Periandi

Rick Periandi, of WSK & Associates Consulting Inc., is currently assigned as the Director of Security for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Periandi is responsible for day-to-day management of the department and an ongoing assessment of appropriate measures required to provide a secure Hospital environment.

Periandi is the former Deputy Commissioner of Operations for the Pennsylvania State Police Department and brings more than 32 years of experience working with the State Police.

The International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts named him Law Enforcement Executive of the Year in 2002. 

He has received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Albright College, Reading, Pa., and three Commissioner’s Letters of Commendation from the Pennsylvania State Police.

Periandi earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Albright College, Reading, Pa.

He also earned certifications as a Police Physical Fitness Instructor and Specialist from the Institute for Aerobics Research in Dallas. 

He completed a course at the Traffic Institute at the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. and he attended the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy Strategic Leadership Program at Duke University in Durham, N.C. 

He has been married to his wife Vicki for 33 years They have two adult sons and one grandson.
