The Faculty Professional Development Center (FPDC) facilitates professional development opportunities that encourage faculty to engage in collaborative efforts related to teaching, scholarship, service and grant development.

Faculty Professional Development Committee

The Faculty Professional Development Committee guides the work of the center and its activities with the goal of supporting teaching, scholarship, service, appropriate use of technology, and the University's core values of Civility, Responsibility and Integrity. Meet the faculty who serve on the committee, as well its subcommittees on Grants and Contracts, Research, Service and Service-Learning, Teaching, and Technology.

New Faculty Orientation

The FPDC sponsors a new faculty orientation prior to the beginning of each fall term to introduce new faculty to Cal U, and other helpful services for new faculty. Learn more.
