Following are some website links that you may find useful in searching for funding opportunities:

Federal Agencies that Provide Grants:  This website links to the 26 federal grant-making agencies available through Grants.gov. 

Foundation Finder:  This website offers basic information on foundation grantmakers in the U.S. including private, community foundations, grant making public charities, and corporate giving programs.

State Agencies:  This website offers an alphabetic list of state agencies of Pennsylvania of which some offer funding opportunities.

NIH Funding Opportunities:  Search for funding opportunities that are offered from the 27 NIH Institutes and Centers.

U.S. Department of Justice:  Search funding opportunities that are offered through the Department of Justice.

Appalachian Regional Commission:  Offers a guide to grant writing as well as funding opportunities. 

National Science Foundation:  Offers a listing of funding opportunities.

Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania:  Offers a guide to the common grant application to receive funding through philanthropy in Pennsylvania.

Department of Education:  Offers a list of open grant opportunities through the Department of Education.

Research Funding Agencies:  Funding agencies through the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).

PA Department of Education:  Grants and funding opportunities through PA's Dept. of Education.

PA Bulletin:  List of issues.

Housing & Urban Development:  Funds Available.

Community of Science (COS):  Listing of the top 10 funding opportunities on their website.

Fulbright Funding Opportunities:  International funding opportunities.
