Teaching and Research

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) assists faculty members as they use smart classrooms and integrate other technology into the teaching and learning environment.

Sponsored Programs & Research

The Office of Sponsored Programs & Research assists with all aspects of grant applications and funding opportunities, including identifying funding sources, helping with proposal development and submission, and providing post-award guidance and support.

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

The Cal U Institutional Review Board is a standing committee, constituted according to federal regulations, that is responsible for ensuring that the rights and welfare of human research participants are protected. No research involving human subjects may be undertaken at Cal U without prior review by the IRB.

Faculty Professional Development Center (FPDC)

The Faculty Professional Development Center facilitates professional development opportunities that encourage faculty to engage in collaborative efforts related to teaching, scholarship, service and grant development.

Cal U's Department of Theatre and Dance closes its 2015 spring season with four performances of the musical 'Urinetown' April 23-25 in Steele Hall Mainstage Theatre.

Registration is open for the End Violence Center’s annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, which shows support for victims of sexual violence. Register to join the walk at 11 a.m. April 23. The first 75 men to register will be given high-heeled shoes to wear!

Renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry C. Lee gives a free talk April 20 from 9-11 a..m. in the Convocation Center. Lee has investigated high-profile cases such as those involving O.J. Simpson, Jon Benet Ramsey and Laci Peterson. More
