Changes to the Academic Calendar

Changes for 2013 Fall semester include revised dates for Thanksgiving break, Drop/Add period, Exam Week, and Grades due by faculty. Dates have also been added for Winter session 2013/2014. There have also been changes for Spring 2014 semester. See the revised Academic Calendar

Safety Text Alerts

Beginning the first week of the semester, students will be notified through campus announcements of the option to register for Cal U Text Alerts. The safety alerts system is a free emergency text messaging service designed for students and others in the campus community who might be affected directly by an emergency on campus or in close proximity to it. Once a student has registered for safety alerts, he/she may choose to add another cell phone number. Note: Accounts are active for one year only. Returning students who wish to receive safety alerts must re-register annually. More on text alerts
