I am pleased to announce that the 2017 State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA) Campaign at California University of Pennsylvania begins this week and will run through Friday, October 27, 2017. The campaign theme for 2017 is “Sow Compassion – Grow Hope.” Wherever compassion takes root, there is the opportunity to grow real hope that things can change for the better.
This year commemorates 40 years that commonwealth employees have given back to those in need through the State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA). By donating, over $100 million dollars was raised for charities that help less fortunate people and the environment.
Doug Hoover and Dana Turcic, our SECA co-chairs, will be sending you additional information regarding this year’s campaign via email.
