Alcohol and Other Drug Education offers educational programs such as Tiki Bars, Alcohol Jeopardy, Red Watch Band Training, Peer Education training, as well as other customized programs.
Addiction is the compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal.
Abuse is the improper or excessive use of a substance.
The Prevention Awareness Recovery Center (The PARC) is now open to all students in recovery from addiction, students who are still struggling with addiction-related issued, and students who wish to learn more about substance abuse and addiction.
