Senior Drive (behind Dixon Hall) is to be used only by Authorized University Personnel, to include: · University Police and other emergency vehicles; · Facilities Management Staff operating a University vehicle for job duties; · Handicapped permit holders using the two (2) spaces behind Dixon Hall; · United States Postal Service, UPS, etc. for mail delivery/pick-up; · Loading and unloading vehicles for recruitment related activities; and, · The University President and guests for parking at the University Residence. All others using Senior Drive for temporary parking, dropping off or picking up staff should cease such actions. Senior Drive is not to be used as a general throughway for campus, but as an access road for the Authorized Personnel listed above. For the safety of our students, staff, faculty and others walking, the increased use and traffic on Senior Drive adds to pedestrian safety hazards. Our Parking Enforcement Officer, as well as University Police, will be more closely monitoring the unauthorized use of Senior Drive and will be signaling any unauthorized vehicles.
