On Thursday, February 11, 2016, contractors will be on campus to install lettering on the Booker Towers, located at the entrance to campus. During the installation process, which is expected to take up to a full day, traffic patterns will be modified, as follows: the outbound lane of 3rd Street near the Towers will be closed in the morning and the inbound lane will be closed in the afternoon. This will allow for the contractor to safely attach the letters to each tower. Vulcan Flyer service will run on its regular schedule while contractors are on site; however, the usual stop in front of the Tower (across the street from Duda) will be relocated across the street from Manderino Library.
University Police will be managing traffic control during the day. Please use caution when driving or walking in this area.
