On Monday, February 22, beginning at 12:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m., members of the California University of Pennsylvania Veterans Club will conduct a 22-hour vigil to raise awareness for Veterans who have died by suicide. It is reported that 22 Veterans a day die by suicide.
A Veteran will stand watch over a Prisoner of War / Missing in Action Table of Remembrance to pay respect to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice or those who have lost their lives from suicide. This vigil serves as a reminder that all Veterans are never alone; never forgotten.
The vigil will be held outside near the Vulcan statue in the quad.
Should you have any questions, please contact the Veterans Club Vice President, Tim Hackley at: HAC6342@CALU.EDU.
