The American Sign Language club is hosting its first annual Sign-a-Thon, an event that will raise money for Deaf Child Worldwide, an organization that advocates for deaf children in developing nations. Get sponsored to spend your day using ASL or handwriting to communicate then join us for a celebratory party in Natali at 5PM! See below to register and for further details:

* April 14th (8am-5pm)

* You will pledge to communicate using sign language for the day this will be excluding classes/clinical/emergency situations

* Writing will also be allowed because we are not all fluent in ASL

* You will ask people to sponsor you for the event, set a  personal goal for fundraising (we recommend $50); however, everyone is asked to have at least 3 sponsors (they can donate however much they want to for the day).

* The proceeds will go to Deaf Child Worldwide, an organization whose goal is to break barriers for deaf children in developing countries.

* We will have a banquet afterwards at 5pm to celebrate the event! There will be food, basket raffles, and some other fun stuff, so please attend this and bring a guest.  Let us know if you will be there so we can have enough of everything!
