Join the Alcohol and Other Drug Department in this semester’s
PROJECT STICKER SHOCK
on Tuesday, May 3rd at 1 pm.

Project Sticker Shock is a university and community-wide awareness program designed to prevent people 21 years and older from purchasing alcohol and providing it to underage individuals.

We will meet in Carter Hall, Suite G-45 at 12:45 pm and will walk to Todd’s Beer Distributor at the end of 3rd street to place awareness stickers on cases and cans of beer and other various alcohol containers. This is a great service opportunity and community outreach effort.

Why are we doing this? Studies show that individuals who begin drinking by age 15 are five times more likely to develop alcohol dependence or abuse later in life than those who begin drinking at age 21. By informing the public about the dangers of the illegal distribution of alcohol to underage individuals, we hope to change the statistics. Please join us in the battle against underage drinking.
