The Veterans Club at California University of Pennsylvania will be on a mission from August 23rd through August 26th, 2012. The mission intent will focus on raising money for scholarships aimed at providing higher education for veterans and their families.
Operation Colmery — named for Harry W. Colmery, who drafted the original G.I. Bill — will continue collecting donations in Buffalo before Veterans Club members attend the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills football game.
If you are interested in making a donation to support the American Legion Legacy Scholarship & Cal U Post 9/11 Era Veterans Scholarship, please contact the Veterans Club Vice-President, Joe Bryan at veterans@calu.edu. The Veterans Club will depart Cal U on Thursday afternoon.
