The Ballroom and Latin Dance Club has started back to dancing for the semester.

What do we do?  Swing dance, Cha cha, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, ...

When do we do this?  We meet most Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8 pm.  Come as often as you can.

Where do we meet?   in the Chapel upstairs in Old Main.

Who can participate?  Everyone is welcome (students, faculty, staff, friends...  )    It is not necessary to have a dance partner to get started.  Come with a friend, or come and make new friends.  NO DANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

What will I need to get started?  A good attitude and a willingness to laugh as you trip over your feet the first week or two.   No special equipment is required.

Why should I consider this?  Dancing is healthy exercise for the body, brain, and attitude.  It is a skill that will help you in social situations in the future.  Professional dance lessons are quite expensive and this is free.   It is great stress relief.  IT IS FUN.

How can I get more information?  Stop by one of our practices, or contact either Deven Bourquin (BOU8746@calu.edu) or  Dr. Connie Monroe  (monroe@calu.edu
