Mid Term (MT) Grade Reports are completed by faculty for any class offered for the full 15-week semester. Below are the MT reporting timelines for Fall 2012. Once MT Grades are posted, academic advisors and students can use the information for planning the remainder of this semester and for Spring 2013 Registration.
ü October 15, 2012 – Faculty may begin inputting MT Grades through VIP. Contact Sheri Grimm (ext. 4597, or Grimm@calu.edu) if you have difficulty.
ü October 19, 2012 – Last day to input MT Grades
ü October 22, 2012 – Students may view their MT grades
Once students receive MT grades, they are encouraged to use the various academic supports on campus to improve their performance in any or all classes. Students with a MT grade of C- or below are contacted by the Office of Student Retention and Success and offered personal assistance to help them get back on track. MT grade reports serve as a retention alert that we use to both intercede and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
